A touch sensor is a device that senses when something, usually a finger or hand, comes into contact with it or gets close. You’ll find touch sensors in many everyday gadgets like smartphones, tablets, touchpads, and interactive displays, where they help us interact with technology through simple touch.
Proteus Model of Touch Sensor
I’m excited to introduce new touch sensor model for Proteus! With this model, you can easily simulate touch interactions right in your virtual circuits. Whether you’re working on user interfaces, trying out touch controls, or just want to add a new feature to your circuits, this sensor board is a handy tool.
I’ve designed the model to closely resemble the original hardware module. This Proteus model also includes interactive touch animations, allowing you to easily simulate and visualize the sensor’s actions.
With this sensor model, you can choose between toggle mode—where a touch turns it on and another touch turns it off—or momentary mode, depending on what you need. It supports both options using toggle marker actuators.
